West Coast USA update

Attn: Shipping Manager

We are pleased to advise that shipping out of the West Coast appears to be slowly improving.

California’s port of Oakland expects its vessel logjam to dissapear within 10 days with only six vessels now anchored in San Francisco Bay awaiting a berth. This number is well down on the 20+ vessels which were awaiting anchor a couple of weeks ago. The ports of Long Beach / Los Angeles are also showing signs of improvement.

Terminals across the West Coast have been working nights and weekends to improve cargo flow.

On the East Coast we have been advised that as a result of the West Coast improvements they are hoping their backlog to clear within the next two weeks.

Please bear in mind there are still delays on some inland locations with equipment, trucking and rail as well as overall congestion stil on all US ports.

Our customer service team will provide an update at the time each order is placed as to current situation so you can instruct us as to which method of shipment you would like us to proceed with.

Best Regards

The D&V Information Team
