MUA Industrial Action at Patrick Terminals

Attention: Shipping Manager

Further to our previous notices about Maritime Union of Australia’s (MUA) Industrial action at Patrick Terminals, we have been advised that the actions at Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle terminals will be further extended.

 Patrick Terminals – Melbourne: 

  • 4 hours of work stoppage starting at 3 am on Monday 8th November, Wednesday 10th November and Friday 12th November 2021
  • 8 hour of work stoppage starting at 11 am on Monday 8th November, Wednesday 10th November and Friday 12th November 2021

Delays are currently up to 9-11 days and are expected to increase with the upcoming strike action.

Patrick Terminals – Brisbane: 

  • 4 hours of work stoppage starting at 3 am, 11 am and 7 pm each day on Tuesday 9th November 2021 and Friday 12th November 2021
  • 1 hour of work stoppage starting at 3:30 am, 11:30 am and 7:30 pm on Wednesday 10th November 2021

 Vessel delays are forecast to increase to 1-2 days over the coming week due to the latest round of industrial action.

 Patrick Terminals – Fremantle: 

  • A ban on working in higher levels and/or performing upgrades starting at 7 am Saturday 6th November to 7 am Monday 8th November, starting at 7 am Saturday 13th November 2021 and finishing at 7 am Monday 15th November 2021
  • 1 hour of work stoppage at 5 am, 1 pm and 9 pm each day, starting from Sunday 7th November 2021 and finishing on Saturday 20th November 2021

Delays at the terminal are currently up to 5-6 days.

Patrick Terminals – Sydney:

Vessel delays have now increased to between 7 to 8 days due to the industrial action.
